Plot: The 70's. A time of experimentation. A time of sexual freedom. For twelve year old Steve Richards and Eric Meyer, the prospects for their future seem limitless. Their world is gonna be a world of sex, fun, and more sex. If the 70's are this wild, just imagine how wild it will be when they grow up --Uh, not exactly. "So you don't mind that you missed Woodstock? Plato's Retreat? Who'd want to hang out in Hef's grotto with James Caan and a dozen Playmates, when you can grow up with Reaganomics and Rock Hudson's declining health?" This is the dilemma facing the now adult Steve and Eric, average guys living their average lives with their average wives in the small town of Freehold, New Jersey. In their early 30's, they're starting to realize that something is missing in their lives. It's not that their lives aren't turning out as expected -- it's that they're turning out exactly as expected. They have become "grownups". And they're having trouble dealing with it. Steve has a good life, a great wife, but he's still bored. When he gets a job offer in San Francisco, it's something new, something different.
