The crime infested streets of East L.A. are ruled by gangland warriors. Family bonds create vicious turf wars where power and revenge control the fate of an entire city locked in a war simply to survive. Rikki Ortega (Jon Seda) dreams of running these streets and is willing to kill or control anyone in his path order for his prophecy to become a reality. A friend of Rikki's from the barrio, however, is not willing to stand by and watch crime rule the streets. Undercover cop Juan Vallejo (Mario Lopez) is set on stopping his old friend even if that means killing this vicious gang leader. Based on William Shakespeare's RICHARD III, this tale of corrupting power is a brutal updating of the Bard's timeless tale.
