The film does feel familiar. This terrain has been walked on before: Angel Heart, The 9th Gate, Jacob’s Ladder even Seven. But if you like that genre (I love it) I wouldn’t see why you wouldn’t appreciate this one... There’s enough morbid imagery here tosatisfy the "Goth" in all of us, enough gore to quench the thirst but not enough Pin Head to call this a Hellraiser flick.
Agreeable sequel will disappoint those expecting tons of Pinhead but those looking for an intriguingly written and well-done follow-up then you'll dig the plentyful nightmarish imagery, twisty plotting and neat effects. And what other Hellraiser movie actually attempts to teach morallity? -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
Overall, a good movie, but held back by a badly-acted lead character and a confusing plot. --Gregg Neville (ColdSpot)
Absolutely the worst in the "Hellraiser" series and one of the dumbest horror films in years. The face of Pinhead is featured prominently on the video box, but he`s barely in the movie. That, however, is the least of this film's problems.-- (eSplatter.com)
The modernism and postmodernism ideas are a hell raising combination that makes Hellraiser: Inferno scarier than its predecessors. --liz kincaid (Bloody-Disgusting.com)

See this film if you enjoy the series and not just Pinhead. Otherwise, skip it. 7/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)

But if you like that genre (I love it) I wouldn’t see why you wouldn’t appreciate this one. Once the film was over it actually had me thinking about my own life, my own demons. There’s enough morbid imagery here to satisfy the "Goth" in all of us, enough gore to quench the thirst but not enough Pin Head to call this a Hellraiser flick... --'The Arrow' (Arrow)
