Plot: An adaptation, by Harold Pinter, of Franz Kafka's classic novel about one man's paranoia and persecution. Josef K., with no explanation given and for no reason he can imagine, is suddenly arrested. As he wanders through a maze of bureaucracy, declaring his innocence, he becomes more and more entangled in the system -- and he puts himself in ever greater danger. And no matter what he does, he can't make the nightmare end.
