A couple suffers gamely through the initial vexations of a relationship in this modern day screwball comedy. Despite his career as a behavioral psychologist, Daniel has a hard time understanding his new romantic interest Katie, a psychically attuned and sexually uptight paleontologist who has the nasty habit of punching strangers when she thinks they are having sexual thoughts.
