Plot: If you see one film starring a dead dog this year, make sure it's COLD DOG SOUP. The recipe: one dead dog named Jasper, one all-too-willing-to-please boyfriend, one insane cabbie. Thicken the plot with a scheme to sell the dead dog, pepper with a cast of bizarre characters, a dash of black comedy, and bring it to a vigorous boil throughout the streets of Los Angeles, from Chinese restaurants to voodoo rituals and beyond.
