Plot: After a union strike, Scottish miner Danny Scoular finds he's unable to secure another job. Quickly growing weary of not being able to support his family, Danny agrees to fight a bare-knuckle match that will bring in some cash. But before Danny realizes it, he'll be the sparring slave of gang boss Matt Mason, a ruthless businessman who needs a fighter like Danny in his stable. While he's away training, his wife Beth, longing for the comforts of her middle-class upbringing, will take a lover. Hopefully, she'll find the strength to stand by her man because Danny may have to fight for his life.
