Hannibal Reviews |
So there it is, many will be dissapointed by the gore instead of suspense, many will miss Fosters role and the lack of any real charector development. All you have to do is remember, this is a horror movie, not an oscar contender, this movie is out to bite you, not make you like it, and bite you it does. But that's what you all wanted wasn't it? [read review] --Sonny Fernandez (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
Overall though it's not horrible but there's a few plot holes and a morbid little final scene; but this completely fails to reach the level of the original because of the gore, plotting and complete lack of mystery. [read review] -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
Not a bad film, but could have been better. It wasn't as gory as people set it out to be, so that was a let down. Check this film out if you're a fan of the first film. [read review] 7/10 --FrighT MasteR (UHM)
Hannibal is well worth viewing--it bears some strange, tasty fruit--but didn't come close to getting in my head. And, I'll admit, after Silence, I wanted it to. [read review] --Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)
Long-awaited sequel that fails to live up to the original: gorier, flashier, funnier, even - but nowhere near as exciting. [read review] --Matthew Turner (ViewLondon)
The problem is the storyline dragging too much in the middle and rarely creating the tension it needs. [read review] 66/100 --Brian Webster (Apollo Guide)
Was it entertaining? Sure. Did it come close to the genius that was Silence of the Lambs? Not really. [read review] --David Nusair (Reel Film Reviews)
There were a few very graphic scenes which were pleasing but overall the movie needed something more. [read review] -- (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
