Jason X Reviews |
A sequel that many hates for a reason I have yet to find out. The bottom line is that I liked this movie, and common, you know this isn't a master- piece so don't say that it ruins the F13th reputation, because it's just as good as the other ones in my opinion. It's a really fun film that is definitely worth the price of admission, just as long as you know what you're in store for. Director Jim Isaac pulls off a very entertaining entry in the series and has retained all of the fun and excitement we have come tolove from the "Friday the 13th" films. Anyone who's a Friday the 13th fan will love this movie, regardless of its cons, but beware if your one of those people who take things very seriously and really puts things into perspective, because this movie really is crap, but fun crap!! [read review] --Mr Disgusting (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
In my opinion this is the best out of the F13 movies because it was the most entertaining. It doesn't focus on trying to scare the audience, but to make things fun. This will surely please fans of the series. Check it out. [read review] 7/10 --FrighT MasteR (UHM)
The best Jason movie since the sixth, "Jason X" does its best to meld the "Friday" franchise with sci-fi, with low-budget space effects look like computer generation rejects from the "Next Generation" TV series. [read review] -- (eSplatter.com)
...a cool entry in the series that at least tried to do something new. All I was expecting to see was Jason in space killing teenagers.......and that's exactly what I got. So I was happy. [read review] --Ian Button (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
You shouldn't take this film at all seriously as it's campy, ridiculous and mostly entertaining B-movie with a script by Todd Farmer that's silly and with some okay chuckles. [read review] -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
The film also manages to be surprisingly funny, with a number of cheesy but effective one-liners and even a trip back to Camp Crystal Lake [read review] --David Nusair (Reel Film Reviews)
Fortunately, "Jason X" breaks the franchise curse by offering something original - a fiendish sense of humour. [read review] --Jamie Russell (BBC Films)
