Businessman Tom Williams (Ritter) and his wife (Hunter) are vacationing in California when a Eddie, a brutal criminal (Roberts), decides they will be his next targets. After insinutating himself and his gang into the family's life, the gang kidnaps the wife and kids. Tom has only one day to rescue his loved ones before time runs out.
