Plot: Young Jared leaves home to begin the experience of self-discovery in Southern California. He ends up in a youth hostel in Hollywood with a prostitute for a roommate, who is interested in a deeper relationship than friendship with young Jared. Soon Jared is working as a caretaker for an elderly blind woman, and involved emotionally with her son. But when this set-up begins to sour, Jared must strike out on his own once again.
