CHRIS KATTAN (Corky) who joined Saturday Night Live' in March is now in his sixth full season as an "SNL" cast member.
Kattan recently wrapped production on "Undercover Brother," a live-action adaptation of a popular toon from Urban Entertainment's Web series, starring with Eddie Griffin and Denise Richards and directed by Malcom Lee. Most recently, he received rave reviews for his performance in "Monkey Bone," a combination of live action and stop-motion animation directed by Henry Selick and produced by Chris Columbus.
Kattan starred with Will Ferrell in "A Night at the Roxbury" (a spinoff of Kattan's "SNL" Roxbury Guys skit) and was also seen in "The House on Haunted Hill."
Kattan has brought many memorable characters to SNL including: the Roxbury Guy s, which Kattan created with Will Ferrell; the half- mon key, apple- eating Mr. Peppers; the gibberish-spouting Suel Forrester; Azrael Abyss, the co-host of the fictional cable access show Goth Talk with Molly Shannon; half of the sex-crazed and often misunderstood couple, the Zimmermans (with Cheri Oteri); and the enigmatic exotic dancer, Mango. In addition, Kattan has contributed notable impressions to the show including Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates, Antonio Banderas in the "How Do You Say, Ah Yes, Show," Al Pacino, Olympic gold medal gymnast Kern Strug's fictitious brother Kippy Bono, David Lee Roth, Dylan McDermott, and Ricky Martin.
Before joining SNL, Kattan was a member of the Los Angeles-based improv/sketch comedy group, The Groundlings, where current cast members Will Ferrell, Ana Gasteyer and Cheri Glen and former cast members Laraine Newman, Phil Hartman, and Jon Lovitz began their careers.
A native of Southern California, Kattan spent part of his youth in Seattle before returning to the Los Angeles area.
