 External Reviews
external linkEverything about this movie is near-perfect, from the pacing right down to the music. The only aspect of The Stand that causes it to lose quality points is the far-too-literal ending, an aspect of King's stories that have never been overly strong.

external linkMore than any other movie or miniseries I've encountered, this capture's the true spirit of the King work upon which it was based. Deeply religious, scary and with a well-paced story that slowly, unrelentingly builds and builds, it's an absolute viewing pleasure.
