Everything about this movie is near-perfect, from the pacing right down to the music. The only aspect of The Stand that causes it to lose quality points is the far-too-literal ending, an aspect of King's stories that have never been overly strong.--Cortney Fusco (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
More than any other movie or miniseries I've encountered, this capture's the true spirit of the King work upon which it was based. Deeply religious, scary and with a well-paced story that slowly, unrelentingly builds and builds, it's an absolute viewing pleasure.-- (eSplatter.com)
