1.
Director Matej Minac's first feature, ALL MY LOVED ONES, tells the story of a Czech-Jewish family during World War II and how Nicholas Winton, a man who saved hundreds of Czech-Jewish children, helped to rescue them from the Nazis. As in many Holocaust stories, Minac's feature combines elements of heroism, pure horror at the events in question, and complex personal emotions. This tale of survival and an ordinary person working to do good in the face of evil, and at great personal risk, is inspiring, if a bit familiar.
2.
