The Sixth Sense Reviews |
Everybody is so captivated by the rather overrated twist ending in The Sixth Sense that they forget to take the movie for what it is: a barely scary thriller with excellent performances throughout and interesting scripting that is actually only very interesting in retrospect of the twist ending. A truly incredible horror film, "The Sixth Sense" harkens back to "The Twilight Zone" and delivers genuine living-dead chills. Although gore hounds might bicker that it's not a slasher flick, the overall perfection of this film should win any moviegoer over. [read review] -- (eSplatter.com)
Satisfying and engrossing, even if nothing much happens for at least half the movie. A very muted and quiet film with steady action, a smart story and some mild humourous touches. ... Not quite Oscar worthy; but above average none-the-less. [read review] -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
Intricately and very intelligently written and directed, evoking in its audience a spectrum of genuine emotions, and with a sublimely executed twist ending, The Sixth Sense is just such a film. [read review] 99/100 --Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)
