Plot: In M. Night Shyamalan's THE SIXTH SENSE, Bruce Willis plays Dr. Malcolm Crowe, a successful Philadelphia child psychologist who is haunted by the sudden reappearance and suicide of a former patient. Months later Dr. Crowe encounters Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment), a troubled, withdrawn young boy who bears a striking similarity to his earlier patient. Everybody is so captivated by the rather overrated twist ending in The Sixth Sense that they forget to take the movie for what it is: a barely scary thriller with excellent performances throughout and interesting scripting that is actually only very interesting in retrospect of the twist ending.--Cortney Fusco (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
Satisfying and engrossing, even if nothing much happens for at least half the movie. A very muted and quiet film with steady action, a smart story and some mild humourous touches. ... Not quite Oscar worthy; but above average none-the-less. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
Intricately and very intelligently written and directed, evoking in its audience a spectrum of genuine emotions, and with a sublimely executed twist ending, The Sixth Sense is just such a film. 99/100--Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)

A truly incredible horror film, "The Sixth Sense" harkens back to "The Twilight Zone" and delivers genuine living-dead chills. Although gore hounds might bicker that it's not a slasher flick, the overall perfection of this film should win any moviegoer over.-- (eSplatter.com)
