In addition to her work as Maria, the spirited teacher in Sidewalks of New York,ROSARIO DAWSON also appears next year opposite Eddie Murphy in the futuristic comedy Pluto Nash, directed by Ron Underwood; and the female lead opposite Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones in Men In Black 2. She recently finished filming The First $20 Million Is Always The Hardest, opposite Adam Garcia and Nine Scenes About Love written and directed by theater director Peter Mattei. She most recently appeared in Josie and the Pussycats, co-starring Rachael Leigh Cook and Tara Reid.
Born and raised in New York City, Rosario Dawson made her film debut in Larry Clark's highly acclaimed and controversial Kids, and went onto play roles in Spike Lee's He Got Game, where she appeared opposite Denzel Washington and Milla Jovovich, in Light it Up with Forrest Whittaker and Vanessa L.
