"Ziegfeld Follies of 1946": Some of Metro Goldwyn Mayer's greatest performers star in this lavish tribute to the late, one-of-a-kind Broadway producer Florenz Ziegfeld.
The film begins in heaven, with Ziegfeld imagining what one final, grand revue would look like. A series of musical and comedy sketches follow, each featuring MGM's top stars.
There's an opulent water ballet sequence starring Esther Williams, dances featuring Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly, a comedy sketch with Red Skelton as a drunk television announcer, and much more. "Ziegfeld Follies" has something to entertain everyone.
