Plot: A young taxi driver has moved into a new apartment that seems strangely familiar to him. Although the previous tenant was burned to death in a bedroom fire, it doesn't seem to bother Yong-hyun. Across the hall is a married couple. The wife receives daily beatings from her husband, who seems to know about a grisly murder which took place in the apartment thirty years ago. As secrets reveal themselves from the closet, Yong-hyun is thrown into a nightmare world, and down a path of terror.A young taxi driver moves into Room 504 (a flat where a writer was burned to death in a fire before) of a haunted old apartment building. There live several creepy tenants all with their stories and pain: a struggling third-rate writer, a high-strung young woman who loses her boyfriend, an abused wife who loses her baby, and a middle-aged man who witnesses all the strangest events in the building.  A decent drama, but a lame "horror" flick. It's more of a thriller if anything that tackles the everyday lives of the poor people who live in a creepy apartment building. Don't bother unless you're really into flicks that have a lot of story, but be prepared of it's incredibly slow pacing. 6/10-- (UHM)
