MARLON WAYANS co-wrote and starred in the original box office smash SCARY MOVIE, and reprises his role as a college-bound Shorty in SCARY MOVIE 2.
After graduating from the famed High School of Performing Arts in New York, Marlon Wayans studied at Howard University's Film School. From there, Marlon headed out west to join the cast of the Emmy Award winning comedy series, "In Living Color." In 1990, young Marion created and starred in "The Wayans Bros." sitcom, which headed up the WB network lineup for five years.
Marlon recently co-wrote and starred in the box office smash SCARY MOVIE along with his brother Shawn Wayans and directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans.
Marlon's career has been going strong ever since. After starring in the feature films "Mo' Money" and "Above the Rim," Marlon wrote, executive produced, and starred in the hit comedy "Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood," a classic parody of the coming-of-age-in-the-'hood genre. Next, Marlon starred in "The Sixth Man" and "Senseless" with David Spade and Matthew Lillard.
Marion was last seen giving a compelling dramatic performance as drug addict Tyrone C. Love in the critically acclaimed "Requiem For A Dream," directed by Darren Aronofsky for Artisan Entertainment. He also starred in the film adaptation of the hugely successful board game "Dungeons and Dragons" for New Line Cinema.
Marlon will re-team with Shawn Wayans to create and produce the animated feature, "Roaches," for Warner Brothers. They are also working on a comedy album together.
