Marlon Wayans in Dungeons & Dragons (2000)

MARLON WAYANS
Snails
Snails appears to be the more cautious of the rogueish pair, and is most likely involved in various cons and petty thefts around Sumdall City. Quick with a dagger or a joke, he's not lived as long as he has without relying on his intuition and street sense.

The authorities suspect Snails and Ridley of many daring raids in the city. They have not been apprehended because they are well liked by the residents of the lower quarter. They shroud them in a cloak of secrecy and will divulge nothing about them to the authorities. In fact their resistance is so well organized that one might well believe that den of rats, the old Thieves Guild, had been resurrected· Damodar, however, vehemently denies that such a thing could happen on his watch.

Marlon Wayans
After graduating from the famed High School of Performing Arts in New York Marlon Wayans studied at the Howard University film school. From there Marlon headed out west to join the cast of the Emmy Award-winning comedy series, In Living Color. In 1990, young Marlon created and starred in The Wayans Bros. sitcom, which headed up the WB Network lineup for five years.

Marlon's career has been going strong ever since. After starring in the feature films Mo' Money and Above the Rim, Marlon wrote, executive produced, and starred in the hit comedy Don't Be A Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in The Hood. The film parodies the coming-of-age-in-the-'hood genre. Next, Marlon starred in The Sixth Man (Disney/Touchstone), a comedy filled with spectacular special effects and a winning combination of comedy and tenderness. Most recently, Marlon starred opposite David Spade and Matthew Lillard in Senseless, directed by Penelope Spherris (Wayne's World).

Marlon co-wrote and can currently be seen in the summer blockbuster Scary Movie (Miramax), a send-up of the teen horror genre. The slasher spoof has grossed more than $150 million, making it the biggest opening film in Miramax history as well as breaking other records.

Upcoming, Marlon stars with Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly and Ellen Burstyn in the feature film Requiem For A Dream directed by Darren Aronofsky for Artisan. In this dramatic independent film, Marlon portrays a young man addicted to heroin.

Marlon teamed up again with Shawn to create and produce the new Warner Brothers animated feature, Roaches.

In addition to his roles in film and television, Marlon has added the title of author to his list of accomplishments. DTP, a division of Dell Books, published 150 Ways to Tell If You're Ghetto, a comical offbeat collection of one-liners. The book hit the Waldenbooks' Best Seller List. Marlon is also about to put out a comedy album, which he wrote with Shawn.
