One of Hollywood’s fastest rising talents, ASHTON KUTCHER has already made his mark on both the small and big screen. He was most recently seen starring opposite Brittany Murphy in the hit romantic comedy "Just Married” and he next stars in "The Butterfly Effect" opposite Amy Smart due out for release February 2004.
Kutcher rose to fame in the role of Michael Kelso on the popular television series “That 70’s Show.” which focuses on the lives of a group of teenage friends in the 1970’s. He is also the co-creator, producer, and host of “Punk’d,” MTV’s new hit series in which pranks are pulled on celebrities. His additional film credits include “Dude Where’s My Car,” “Texas Rangers,” “Down To You” and “Reindeer Games.”
Kutcher was born and raised in Homestead, Iowa (pop.100), where he lived on a farm with his parents, older sister and twin brother. To finance the cost of his education as a bio-chemical engineer at the University of Iowa, Ashton worked his way through school as a cereal dust sweeper at the General Mills plant in Cedar Rapids. After being discovered by a local talent scout, he moved to New York to pursue his interest in acting.
