Plot: Ice hockey superstar and confirmed bachelor Bobby Barbato almost gets mugged by a band of street punks, but he manages to fight them off. When the fracas finally ends, Bobby has prevented only one 11-year-old from escaping. The child succeeds in convincing Barbato to let him off the hook, and take him home. When they arrive, Bobby meets the boy's mother -- a single parent just trying to make ends meet. And soon he realizes that the night that began with violence could lead instead to love.
