Tagline: In the heart of Times Square, a poor girl becomes famous, a rich girl becomes courageous, and both become friends.
Plot: Two young girls run away from a psychiatric institution and make a home for themselves in the middle of Times Square. The duo starts a band and, with the help of an FM disk jockey, publicize their music around town. The film culminates in a rock show, featuring an array of rockers performing on top of a marquee on 42nd Street.
