Plot: In this second installment of the Tibbs trilogy, detective Virgil Tibbs must track down a prostitute's murderer. The prime suspect: Reverend Logan Sharpe, a politically active cleric engaged in governmental reform. The pious preacher might be an upstanding pillar in the local community but detective Tibbs has semen samples and eye witnesses that might reveal otherwise.
