Hollywood has certainly witnessed a meteoric rise from the talented CARLA GUGINO. Gugino starred opposite Academy Award winner Nicolas Cage in "Snake Eyes," in the independent film, "Judas Kiss" opposite Emma Thompson, which she also produced, as well as Disney's "The War at Home" with Martin Sheen, Kathy Bates, and Emilio Estevez, and "Michael" with John Travolta and William Hurt. Her additional credits include "Miami Rhapsody" opposite Sarah Jessica Parker, "This Boy's Life" with Robert DeNiro and Leonardo DiCaprio, "The Son in Law" opposite Pauly Shore, "Jaded," and "Troop Beverly Hills." She recently completed work on "The Center of the World" with Balthazar Getty and Shirley Knight and is currently shooting "The One" with Jet Li.
On television, Gugino starred opposite Michael J. Fox on the ABC Comedy "Spin City," and was seen this past season on the critically acclaimed drama "Chicago Hope." Last December she was seen in the CBS Hallmark Hall of Fame movie "A Season for Miracles," and received rave reviews for her performance in the BBC/PBS miniseries "The Buccaneers," based on the Edith Wharton novel. She also appeared in "Lovelife," HBO's "a Private Matter" opposite Aidan Quinn and Sissy Spacek, and Showtime's "The Motorcycle Gang," part of their "Drive-In Classics" series.
