Plot: Red Ned Lynch (Robert Shaw) heroically saves his friend Nick Debrett (James Earl Jones) from death at the hands of the authorities. Taking on the stunning, saber-saavy Jane Barnett (Genevieve Bujold) as a partner-in-adventure, the two men set out to rescue the citizens of Jamaica from the iron grip of nefarioius Lord Durant (Peter Boyle). The trio thrust and parry their way through a series of action-packed, entertaining escapades in this romantic pirate tale.
