Plot: The life and crimes of the Soviet dictator Josef Stalin, who came to power after Lenin's death in 1924, and died in 1953. The biography focuses not only on Stalin's personal life, but also examines his policies and purges, including his systematic murder of over 20 million Soviet citizens as well as all the major military figures, which made it all the more difficult for the country to repel the Nazis during World War II.
