Plot: The Prince of the Children of the Night seeks a new sanctuary. As Count Alucard, he finds another home in the lush swamps and palatial mansions of the gothic South. Although the entire town buzzes with news of the mysterious stranger's arrival, no one is more interested than Katherine Caldwell, a wealthy belle with a passion for the occult. Her desire for forbidden knowledge draws her inexorably into Dracula's grasp, and before long she's abandoned her fiance for Alucard. Katherine's jilted lover discovers the Count's true identity, but too late... for neither the law nor science has the power to save Katherine from her desire for immortality.
