Australian-born ADAM GARCIA (Kevin) first captured the public’s attention winning accolades from audiences and critics alike with his role as Tony Manero in the West End production of "Saturday Night Fever." The stage musical was a smash hit in London and quickly propelled him into casting offices all over the world. In spring 1999 he left the production and returned to Australia where he had his first starring role in the motion picture "Bootmen," a film with Tap Dogs founder Dein Perry. The film is due for release from Fox Searchlight later this year. He will soon begin shooting "Riding in Cars With Boys," starring with Drew Barrymore and directed by Penny Marshall, based on the acclaimed novel by Beverly Donofrio.

Born in Sydney, he attended the prestigious Capital Dance Studio while still in primary school. A career in the arts appealed more to him than several years within the walls of a university, so he immediately hit the audition circuit and landed a role in the Australian production of "Hot Shoe Shuffle." When the show traveled to Britain, he achieved his debut in London’s West End.

With its dance theme, Garcia was able to showcase his athletic talents, a move that enabled him to secure a role in "Grease." His desire for challenge led him into theatre and his first play, "Birdy," which also appeared in the West End. Soon after Garcia won the lead role in "Saturday Night Fever." A singer as well as a dancer and actor, he is featured on the recently released cast album from the London stage show.

Garcia’s other credits include the part of Jones in the film "Wilde," and several turns on television on SKY TV’s "Dream Team" and the BBC’s "Wild House." He is also featured on the cast albums of Hair (Wolf) and Fiddler on the Roof (Perchik) from That’s Entertainment Records.

Garcia and other members of the "Bootmen" cast has the distinction of being selected to participate as part of the opening ceremony for the worldwide telecast of the highly anticipated 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.
