Australian-born ADAM GARCIA (Jason) won accolades from audiences and critics alike for his role as Tony Manero in London's West End production of "Saturday Night Fever." The world premiere stage production was a smash hit, sold out for virtually its entire run featuring Adam, and rapidly propelled him into the forefront of casting establishments around the world.

Trained at the renowned Capital Dance Studios in Sydney, Adam followed the path into the arts, which appealed to him more than several years within the confining walls of university.

He landed a role in the Australian production of "Hot Shoe Shuffle," which when brought to the West End, marked his London stage debut. He maintained his presence in the London theatre scene with a series of roles, including the role of Young Al in "Birdy" and the character of Doody, one of the famous T-Birds, in "Grease."

Garcia has just finished filming the lead in "The First $20 Million Is Always The Hardest" for 20th Century Fox, based on the book of the same name by Po Bronson. His other credits include the part of Jones in "Wilde" and several turns on British television in Sky's "Dream Team" and the BBC's "Wild House."

He was also featured on the soundtracks of "Hair" (Wolf) and "Fiddler on the Roof" (Perchik) for That's Entertainment Productions and has been tapped as 'one to look out for' in 2001 by numerous media, including Teen People, Rolling Stone and Movieline. After a year showcasing his acting, dancing and vocal skills as Tony Manero in "Saturday Night Fever," Adam returned to his native Australia to star in "Bootmen," a film by Tap Dogs founder Dein Perry, for Fox Searchlight, and he tap danced a sequence from the film at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000.

Immediately after completing shooting in Australia, Adam moved to the U.S. to commence filming the lead male role of "Kevin" in the Bruckheimer/Disney romantic comedy "Coyote Ugly," working with newcomer Piper Perabo, Maria Bello, John Goodman and Tyra Banks.

As a brief reminder of his original trade as a stage actor, Adam has since appeared at the Soho Theatre in London as part of their "Four Plays, Four Weeks" program.

Playing the role of Chris in Marta Emmits' "Cadillac Ranch," this special season celebrated the art of bringing new plays to a bare stage for one-week performances only, having each had only a one-week rehearsal. Adam's portrayal of a young American wannabe cowboy has also received critical acclaim.
