A goofy wannabe chef falls in love with a feisty meteorologist in this wholesome romantic comedy about growing up and getting the girl. James (Kipp Marcus) is a daffy dude who just wants to be liked. One afternoon, while shoveling snowy sidewalks, he meets Sara (Alice Dylan) who brings him cocoa and shows him she can balance a cup on her flat head. They sled, they make dreams, they decide on their careers. He's silly and sincere; she's fiery and aloof. They decide they're "just friends," but they can't seem to meet anyone else they like as much as each other. He goes to her school dance, they kiss, they decide they won't see each other for a while because now their relationship is too complicated. She moves to England, he moves to the Big Apple. He thinks he'll never see her again; she moves to New York. They reunite, but she's engaged to get married. James's best friend, Mitch (Henry Simmons) is a successful stockbroker who tries to bring James down to earth throughout, but James is just too much of a romantic for that. Bernadette Peters plays James's wacky mother who only dates foreigners who don't speak English.

To win back Sarah all James needs is a snow day... Too bad it's June.
Let it Snow is a hilarious modern day fairy-tale. When James was 4, Grammy told him the family curse: "We're doomed in love. The men leave and the women go crazy." But one magical snow day, James, now 18, meets the girl-next-door, Sarah. From the moment he touches her flat head, they are linked for life. Unfortunately, the "family curse" strikes again. Four years later our former young lovers meet once more in Manhattan. Sarah is a career driven, sleeps-with-her-beeper-sort-of-gal and James still holds a torch for Sarah and regularly attends "open-mic therapy" at a stand-up comedy club. All James needs is another snow day to get a second chance at first love. Too bad it's June!
Let it Snow is the perfect film for anyone who's ever been unlucky in love, on the rebound, or who simply wants to have a good time!
