Katherine Healy, who plays the little girl, performed the role of little Marie in New York City Ballet's production of "The Nutcracker", and is now a professional ballerina; in addition to her dancing, she was a gifted ice-skater who appeared with the troupe of Olympic skating champion John Curry.
