Plot: A leukemia-stricken twelve year-old girl has every possible material need satisfied by her wealthy and successful mother. What she doesn't have, however, is a father. Then she meets an appealing Congressional candidate, and takes a shine to him. Though the candidate is at first reluctant to get involved, he finally cannot resist the tragic little girl -- and he vows to make her dream of becoming a ballerina come true. But the girl's time is quickly slipping away...
