Plot: Master of horror John Carpenter (ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK, HALLOWEEN) co-wrote the script of this horrifying suspense film. When a construction site explosion rocks a small California desert town, a lot more than smoke and fire gets unleashed. Some 25,000 mutant rattlesnakes, who have been breeding nearby since escaping from a truck on their way to a zoo, are unearthed. Dangerous and deadly, the swarm of killer snakes are on the attack, and the terrified townspeople must find a way to stop them. The stellar cast includes Harry Hamlin (of TV's L.A. LAW) and Shannon Sturges (THE PERFECT WIFE.)
