Born in Savannah, Georgia, DESMOND HARRINGTON ("Randy") grew up in the Bronx, New York. His lifetime dream has been to become an actor, and in order to finance his ambition, Desmond worked in construction, as a landscaper, laborer and bartender so he could pay for acting classes in Manhattan with John Strasberg.
Desmond booked the first film that he ever read for, Joan Of Arc starring Milla Jovovich, John Malkovich and Dustin Hoffman and directed by Luc Besson. He then starred with Ben Affleck and Giovanni Ribisi in Boiler Room. Stacy Cochran's Drop Back Ten, which stars Harrington, James LeGros and Amber Valetta was in competition at last year's Sundance Film Festival.
Desmond Harrington completed the independent film Massholes last year, then went on to co-star in Christine Lahti's My First Mister. He has just completed shooting Riding In Cars with Boys opposite Drew Barrymore and Brittany Murphy for director Penny Marshall.
