Plot: Between stints that capitalized on his popular "good ol' boy" persona, Burt Reynolds starred in this romantic caper. Jack Rhodes, an American in London, meets a sophisticated Brit named Gillian Bromley. As the unlikely duo spars verbally, and develops a reluctant romance, they hatch an unthinkable diamond heist, one worth $30,000,000. Then a fussy chief inspector leaves Scotland Yard to thwart their plans. Now the detective is just one step behind them.
