Plot: POW Charles Rane returns from Vietnam, only to discover that his wife has fallen in love with another man. Although he should be crushed by the revelation, Rane has difficulty feeling anything anymore, as he has been emotionally devastated by his traumatic experiences in Vietnam. When a sadistic band of thieves break into the family house searching for silver dollars that were awarded to Rane at his discharge, the crooks torture the broken veteran to find out where he's hidden the loot. Rane refuses to reveal the hiding place, and, as a result, he and his family are shot and left to die. Rane somehow survives and, with the help of two close friends from his Vietnam days, goes after the killers -- determined to exact a brutal and bloody revenge.
