Genre:
Plot: A smalltown sheriff (Dennis Hopper) and Innkeeper (Mariel Hemingway) unknowingly harbor Maceda, a former FBI informant (Chris Sarandon) who is being hotly pursued by Gere, a bitter agent (Peter Coyote), in order to have him testify against Orosco, a drug kingpin. But when Orosco finds out, he sets out to kill Maceda before Gere finds him, and Maceda finds himself running for his life.
