Tagline: What actually happened that night in the woods?
Plot: A trio of people with a cable access TV show venture into the wilds of New Jersey to make a documentary about a search for the legendary Jersey Devil. Days later, only one of them returns--and he quickly becomes a suspect in the murder of the other. Only when the footage they shot is found is the horrifying truth revealed. A controversy regarding the similarities between this film and THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT emerged upon the release of the latter in the summer of 1999. THE LAST BROADCAST was actually made first.

I came away kind of unimpressed, but oddly the film stayed with me long after it was over. It's very subtle in what it does, the most disturbing thing we see is the victems dead bodies but it's worth seeing for Blair Witch junkies, just don't expect anything near as genius. ... In the end though the movie left me just like the others, scared to death, don't ask me why.--Sonny Fernandez (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
Convincingly looking like a real documentary this is a good idea that's eventually stretched thin, but Blair Witch does owe a heck of a lot to this as, apart from the finale, it's very similar in theme. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
...it was designed and executed with originality, intelligence, savviness, and at times a good amount of humor. ... Consider me duly impressed--this is one of a very small number of films which I enjoy and appreciate more every time I watch it. 88/100--Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)

Watching the first part of this movie, I was excited to see a "mockumentary" that came close to matching the greatness of "The Blair Witch Project." ... Ultimately, I have to recommend this movie, but go into it knowing the ending is a letdown.-- (eSplatter.com)
Overall a good movie thats not noticed as a decent horror movie simply because its not out there. A really different documentary style horror movie that doesn't one bit remind us of The Blair Witch Project. -- (terrorwatch.net)
