 Synopses for The Prince of Pennsylvania (1988)
1.Rupert is a unhappy teenager in a small Pennsylvania mining town who lives with his thoroughly dysfunctional parents. Gary is a strict father, who wants Rupert to be a coal miner like himself. Pam, Rupert's mom, wants her son to have something more in life. Tensions burst, however, when Rupert discovers that Pam is having an affair with Gary's best friend. With the help of his older girlfriend, Rupert concocts a hare-brained scheme to kidnap his father and use the ransom money to blow the depressing burg for good.
