Plot: Marshal Howard Nightingale wants to become the Senator from Texas, and he won't let anything stop him from getting to Capitol Hill -- especially a murderous outlaw. In fact, escaped killer Jack Strawhorn may represent a winning ticket for Nightingale, as the marshal and his posse of loyal deputies chase the fugitive through woods and prairies, making newspaper headlines every step of the way.

But man's loyalty is easily swayed... and Marshal Nightingale is going to find this out the hard way.
