Charlie's obsession with vehicles and traffic began when he was a child. As a teen, the fascination continued, but he allowed himself to become involved with a lovely girl named Amy. However when Amy leaves for college, lonely Charlie decides to head to that mecca of traffic and freeways -- Los Angeles -- to see her. Unfortunately, she's already involved with a new guy. But there's a silver lining for Charlie: he just might get the chance to work for his childhood idol, radio traffic reporter Alan Davenport. If hired, Charlie will have his dream job, but can he win back Amy?
