CHARLIEHUNNAM (Embry) has captured the attention of audiences and critics in the United Kingdom with his irresistible charm and is now poised to take on Hollywood. Currently, Hunnam is shooting "Cold Mountain," Anthony Minghella’s adaptation of the best-selling novel by Charles Frazier, and stars opposite Jude Law, Nicole Kidman and Renee Zellweger. He recently wrapped production on the big screen adaptation of Charles Dickens’ novel Nicholas Nickleby. He will play the title character who becomes an orphan and joins an actors’ gang to support himself and his friends. Jaime Bell, Nathan Lane and Christopher Plummer will co-star.
On the small screen, Hunnam starred in Judd Apatow’s critically acclaimed television series "Undeclared" and he has received both audience and critical acclaim for his role in the hit British drama, "Queer as Folk." Hunnam reprised his role of Nathan in the follow-up television miniseries, "Queer as Folk 2," which was regarded as one of the best sequels ever on television.
Hunnam got his start on the BBC teen drama series "Byker Grove" followed by BBC’s "Microsoaps." He made his film debut in 1999 with "Whatever Happened to Harold Smith?" starring Tom Courtenay.
