Tagline: There comes a time when love stops being a ball and starts being a woman.
Plot: This film offers insight into the politics of college basketball, and how wide-eyed freshman Henry Steele loses his innocence about the game, and his school. When Steele, a gifted player, doesn't fulfill his mercilessly cruel coach's expectations, he's in big trouble. Specifically, the university wants him to renounce his scholarship. But Henry does not give up so easily. Instead he fights the system -- and keeps on improving his game -- in an effort to stay on the team, and keep his well-earned stipend. Will Steele succeed in redeeming himself?
