Plot: James Woods and Kate Capshaw star in this satire of picture-perfect suburbia blemished by imperfect human nature. Ideal couple Karen and Matt have a bucolic house in a beautiful neighborhood. The jewel in their crown is a peerlessly well-maintained garden. Then their loutish neighbor gets the bright idea of watering his lawn, over and over again -- which ultimately kills Karen and Matt's colorful flowers. What might have been just a horticultural tiff turns into a land war on this particular subdivision of American life.
