BRUCE ALTMAN (Dr. Klein) made his motion picture debut as Harrison Ford’s best friend in Mike Nichols’ "Regarding Henry", a role he landed immediately after graduating from the prestigious Yale School of Drama in 1990.

Altman went on to work for such respected filmmakers as James Foley ("Glengarry Glen Ross"), Ron Howard ("The Paper"), Mike Figgis ("Mr. Jones"), Robert Redford ("Quiz Show"), James Mangold ("Girl, Interrupted" and "Copland"), Michael Pressman ("To Gillian on her 37th Birthday"), Daniel Stern ("Rookie of the Year"), Anthony Minghella ("the title role of Mr. Wonderful"), Nicholas Hytner ("The Object of My Affection") and Roger Michell ("Changing Lanes"). He also had major roles in several independent projects including the highly acclaimed "L.I.E.", "Vibrations", "Get Well Soon" and "My New Gun", and co-starred opposite Bebe Neuwirth in the 1997 Oscar-winning live action short, "Dear Diary."

Altman also maintains an active television career. Among his guest spot credits is the first season two-part episode of NBC’s Emmy-winning drama "Law & Order", as well as "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent". He was a series regular on the Peabody Award-winning ABC series "Nothing Sacred", and guest-starred on such shows as "Against the Law", "The Bill Cosby Murder Mysteries", "The Great Defender" and "The Wright Verdicts". His work on HBO includes a major guest-starring role on the season finale of "The Sopranos", and a co-starring role opposite Peter Gallagher and Alan Alda in the telefilm "White Mile". Earlier in his career, the Bronx native was an alternative high school teacher in Manhattan. At the same time he studied acting with such respected teachers as Geraldine Page, William Esper, Herbert Berghof and Bill Hickey while also honing his craft on the off-off-Broadway stage. Altman has performed in more than 50 plays, including productions at the Yale Repertory Theatre. Most recently, he was in Kenneth Lonergan’s Waverly Gallery at the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, under the direction of stage veteran John Tillinger.
