Plot: When there is a miscarriage of justice in the trial of an alleged murderer, the officer who arrested him takes the matter into his own hands. Taking the court officers and defendant hostage, the detective attempts to prove that the community activist killed two police officers, one of whom is his ex-wife. The imperfect officer finds himself in over his head in trying to prevent a technicality from freeing a man he believes is a murderer.
