Unfortunately, when Sam takes off to have a look around the city while Mitch sleeps, he never returns, sending his sister into a panic when she wakes up the next day. Frightened and unable to speak Spanish, Mitch heads to the American Embassy where she requests help. However, when the Mexican authorities seem content to sweep Sam's case under the table, Mitch must set off to find her brother on her own.

While traveling through Mexico, Mitch (Stacey Edwards) and her brother Sam have a one-night layover in Mexico City. Sam takes off to grab a beer while Mitch heads to the hotel room to sleep. S he awakens the next morning to find that Sam never returned thus beginning her desperate search. Alone and not able to speak Spanish, Mitch heads to the American Embassy where she solicits help from Ambassador Mills (Robert Patrick). But when the Mexican authorities brush off her concerns she turns to the only person willing to help, Pedro (Jorge Robles), the Taxi driver she and her brother met earlier.
