ERICK AVARI (Anderson) spent his childhood in Darjeeling, a mystically beautiful Himalayan town in northern Indian, which uniquely prepared him for a career that has taken him from the cricket field to outer space and back several times.
Erick Avari’s film credits include leading roles in films from Kevin Reynold’s cult classic The Beast of War, as well as Planet of the Apes, Stargate, Independence Day and The Mummy. His comedic skills have landed him starring roles in ForLove or Money and Woody Allen’s only television film, Don’t Drink the Water. His upcoming projects include Michael Meredith’s Three Days of Rain, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and Daredevil, starring Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck.
A lengthy theatrical background has garnered Avari critical acclaim for roles at the Joseph Papp Public Theatre in New York City, including his portrayal of Vasquez in "Tis Pity She’s A Whore," and the Broadway hit "The King And I." He has had the pleasure of performing in some of the most prestigious regional theatres in the country including The Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, Chicago’s Goodman Theatre and the Cleveland Playhouse, playing roles such as the King in "King Lear" and Joseph Smith in the Mabou Mines production of "The Morman Project."
His recent television credits include "The Education of Max Bixford," "The West Wing," "Law and Order," "Enterprise" and a host of movies of the week.
